Terms of Use

Last updated April 17, 2026

These terms govern access to and use of Red Lion. By creating an account or otherwise using the service, you agree to them.

Eligibility and accounts

Red Lion is currently access-controlled and provided through invite codes issued by Red Lion or by a partner program we work with. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account or submitting an access request, and to keep that information current.

Permitted use

You may use Red Lion to develop, evaluate, and share venture work in the manner the product is designed for. You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate any law or the rights of others.
  • Submit content you do not have the right to submit, including confidential information you are not authorized to share.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, ventures, or non-public areas of the service.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the service, or attempt to bypass rate limits, share-link authorization, or access controls.
  • Probe, scan, scrape, or stress-test the service without prior written permission.
  • Use the service to send unsolicited communications or any form of spam.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to Red Lion (your venture work, drafts, comments, and similar). You grant Red Lion a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service for you and the people you have authorized to view it (for example, reviewers in your cohort or recipients of a share link).

You are responsible for the content you submit. We may remove content that violates these terms or that we reasonably believe poses a risk to the service or its users.

Sharing and review

When you create a share link, anyone in possession of that link can view the venture analysis it points to until the link is revoked or expires. You are responsible for the distribution of links you create. Red Lion is not responsible for downstream redistribution by recipients.

Service availability

Red Lion is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and we may suspend or change features at any time. We will use reasonable efforts to give notice of material changes that affect existing users.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Red Lion at any time if we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, if your continued access poses a risk to the service or its users, or if your access is provided through a partner program that has been discontinued.

You may stop using the service at any time. You can request deletion of your account by emailing the address at the bottom of this page.

Disclaimers

Red Lion is a venture-development workspace. It is not legal, investment, accounting, or tax advice. Outputs of the service — including any Venture Analysis — are the work of the founders who produced them. Red Lion does not endorse, validate, or guarantee the accuracy of any venture content.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Red Lion is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising out of or relating to your use of the service. Our total liability for any direct damages will not exceed the greater of fifty US dollars or the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
